Project Overview

As part of ASMEDA's full plant rehabilitation program, NATCOM was awarded an EPC contract to revamp the control systems of five critical turbomachinery trains. The project scope encompasses a comprehensive upgrade of both control and protection layers, along with a complete mechanical retrofit of obsolete hydraulic controls and the supply of all field instrumentation.

Scope of Work

Control & Monitoring Systems

  • CCC Prodigy Control System for main and auxiliary turbomachinery control functions
  • Emerson AMS 6500 ATG vibration monitoring system, replacing the legacy Bentley Nevada 3300
  • Siemens SIL-certified safety PLC for shutdown and protection loops

Mechanical Retrofit

  • Complete replacement of obsolete turbine hydraulic controls
  • REXA state-of-the-art Electraulic actuators
  • Voith trip blocks for reliable emergency shutdown
